I would like to offer you guidance on this journey using the tools I have found helpful on my own path.

I believe the creative process is inherently healing. It gives our busy minds a chance to pause while allowing our hands and bodies to do the work. 

Movement

Our bodies often store trauma and life’s challenges, deeply influencing how we navigate our experiences.

We all carry a unique bundle of experiences…

…that shape how we treat ourselves and interact with the world around us. These experiences influence our relationships with friends and family, how we love, and how we raise our children. For many of us, there’s significant work to be done in the realm of unlearning.

To grow, we must make changes based on who we want to become, not simply who we were raised to be. This process can be incredibly challenging and often triggers feelings of self-doubt, blame, and frustration, leaving us feeling stuck, lost, or hopeless.

Generational trauma is real. Whether our ancestors were oppressors or being oppressed, it’s up to us to find our own roots, grow strong, and build resilience.

Like everyone, I am a work in progress, and I believe our capacity for change is one of our greatest strengths in healing trauma and creating positive change, both personally and globally.

How We Work

Art-making

Whether painting, sculpting, sewing, tearing, cutting, or gluing; making marks in any form creates new neural pathways and taps into our unconscious thoughts and memories.

Your experience in art-making doesn’t matter—whether you’ve never considered yourself “good at art” or have years of practice. I aim to provide a safe space where you can play, explore, and
express yourself freely. I prefer to work alongside you, fostering a sense of creative community.
I’m not just an observer of your creations; I engage in the process with you. Often, my own visual responses lead me to insights beyond what words can express.
The process of art-making can be vulnerable and raw and I am here to create a safe container for you to share your feelings and expressions, and to help you find a sense of joy in your uniqueness.

How We Work

Movement and breath

Feeling stuck, dealing with physical ailments, or having a restless mind are often closely linked to our physical well-being. By gently tuning into our bodies—becoming aware of unhelpful postures and movement patterns—and making subtle adjustments, we can create meaningful shifts in both body and mind.
Our sympathetic nervous system responds to movement and breath, and we can rewire our stress responses by incorporating breathwork and conscious movement into daily life. Yoga, far
beyond physical exercise, is a holistic way of life. Rooted in ancient philosophy, it delves into human thought patterns, guiding us to act from a place of kindness and mindfulness. By recognizing obstacles like ego, aversion, fear, and attachment, yoga offers a path towards self- compassion and compassion for others.
I integrate healing-centered yoga practices into my work, acknowledging the deep connection between mind and body. This approach fosters a more balanced and harmonious sense of well- being.
